Council Forcible Entry 8 lb. Flathead Fire Axe with Marrying Slot, 32˝ Dual-Grip Hickory Handle
Used in all manner of municipal fire fighting applications, these Forcible Entry Flathead fireman’s style single bit axes with American hickory handles help to reduce fatigue and injury. The cutting edge is approximately 5˝ in overall length and the poll is square. Featuring 4140 forged steel heads, a tapered wedge shaped blade, and an extended poll. The top of the head is flat to stand on its own, and the axe head is hydraulically seated onto handle and secured with a traditional wooden and steel wedges. Hand-sharpened, tapered bit for cutting.
