This compact hatchet is named after the Mountains To Sea trail, which spans from the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. An excellent choice for hiking and camping, this model has the same head weight as the mini camper, at only 1.25 lbs, but features a wider blade. The "Rockaway" style blade adds more mass and support to the heel of the blade than other models, such as the Mini Camper or Trapper. The hardened poll can be used as a hammer on hard materials.
