William Collins 1st Folder 3" Frame Lock Folder / Black Micarta / Satin AEB-L
WC has worn many hats in his lifetime, from that of a military veteran, to author to commercial construction foreman. Since 2012, William has worn the hat of a custom knife maker.
One look at a sample of his work will tell you that not only does William Collins have ideas as big as the state from which he hails, but he has the skills and abilities to implement those ideas. In a knife market saturated with hundreds of makers all blending together, William’s work stands out from the crowd.
William’s designs are not just different for the sake of being different; they are purposefully different. William’s business motto is “Knives Made to Work.” His knives are designed with purposeful intent and their form follows that purpose.
This is WCK's 1st Folder - so named for being the first production model folder William Collins has released. A simple but rugged open back stainless steel frame with ball detent for retention of the blade. Stout AEB-L satin blade offers sure grip and ergonomics for powerful slices with its Scandi to distal grind as well as smooth opening and closing operation on its copper washers. Rugged cut micarta scales further improve grip and reliability of this folder. This has an interchangeable clip for left or right hand tip up carry
